Project Details
Description
The aim of this project is to explore the extent to which differential privacy and differentially private algorithms can solve privacy issues in a setting where different interconnected devices are sensing, and sending information to an aggregator (gateway) which locally processes the data and sends the result to the cloud for further analysis, all in real-time. The project also aims at introducing new alternative privacy definitions that best capture different privacy goals and constructing algorithms satisfying these definitions. This will build on our previous and ongoing work on new variants of differential privacy, differentially private release of streaming data with improved utility, and privacy-preserving outsourced computation.
