Description
Specific R&D activities undertaken by the Intern:
Conduct two reviews of current (2013-2024) literature relating to position
statements Reframing Autism (RA) is currently undertaking within its
coproduction committees. (1) Position statement on diagnosis (including
access to diagnosis, relevance of diagnosis, status of self-identification).
(2) Position statement on neuro-affirming therapeutic care (including what
is understood to constitute neuro-affirming care, and principles of neuroaffirming
care). A short literature review report (c. 1500-2000 words), and
a polished 500 word summary of that review in accessible, lay language, of
the current literature on both topics, is the specific output required.
