Project Details
Description
This project lays the foundation for a joint research and research training partnership on forced migration between Mahidol University and Macquarie University. The specific research objectives are to examine the frameworks governing refugee protection in Thailand, including in relation to legal identity provision, and to identify opportunities for enhancing refugee protection, including improved access to rights and services. In 2025, the project hosted two roundtables: one on the state of forced migration research in Thailand at Mahidol University, and one the right to development of forced migrants and stateless people at Macquarie University.
