'Retrospectacle', first stage development of a new solo performance series by Julie-Anne Long.
The first stage encompasses research, development and experimental online and live presentations of three interconnected concepts, which explore personal and political colonisation of body and country. Julie-Anne builds on existing collaborative relationships with dance artists Narelle Benjamin (as choreographer for 'unentitled'), Martin del Amo (as director/co-author for 'Swannie') and Vicki Van Hout (as Indigenous knowledge advisor for 'Queenie').
