Description
This project involves working with local Early Childhood Education (ECE) settings (2-3) to:
I. observe existing ECE creative arts classroom practices and pedagogies, and identify potential areas of challenge and improvement in planning and implementing creative arts experiences and activities;
II. undertake a process of co-designing (by ECE staff and CIs) intentional and tailored pedagogies and practices to further support quality creative arts experiences and activities for young children in the ECE classroom; and
III. have ECE staff reflect on initial understandings and practices, and reflect on the co-designed intentional and tailored pedagogies and practices.
