Technical Proposal for a Study on the Effectiveness of School Readiness Programme – Timor Leste

The aim of this proposed project is to design and conduct a study exploring the effectiveness of the School Readiness Program in Timor-Leste. The School Readiness Program was developed in response to the unique Timor-Leste context. We therefore provide a succinct explanation of our understanding of the Timor-Leste context for preschool and primary education below, before focusing on the research evidence about school readiness more generally, and our understandings about the Timor-Leste School Readiness Programme. We then outline our proposed approach to the project.
