Layman's description
My research program for the next 5 years aims to assess:
1) How we can use small molecules present in the blood as biomarkers to evaluate disease severity, progression rate and response to treatment for neurodegenerative diseases (Prognostics);
2) How we can alter the expression of enzymes with existing and/or newly developed drugs for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases (Therapeutics).
