The localisation of blues archetypes in Austral Jazz

This research projects seeks to understand the ways in which blues forms, styles and approaches have featured in the developments of Austral musicians, composers, groups and recordings. It builds on previous research that took a wider view of the localisation of jazz expressions in Australia and New Zealand.
