    Description

    This is a proposal to sequence the genome of a wild cotton species from Western Australia using a contracted Genome Survey Sequencing technique in China. The partially annotated sequence will be used to assemble information on cotton from the CC genome. We are applying to the Linnean Society of NSW for partial funding. Applicants: Atwell (Supervisor) and Masoomi (PhD student).
