PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve precision of estimation on refrigerant leakage in an air conditioner.
SOLUTION: A computer sets, with a calculation model which includes variables indicative of feature quantities of a plurality of operation modes of an air conditioner and coefficients of the variables, and estimates an index of refrigerant leakage in each of the plurality of operation modes, restriction conditions for the coefficients (step 601). At this time, the computer applies to the calculation model a measured value of a feature quantity of a first operation mode and a measured value of a feature quantity of a second operation mode switched to from the first operation mode. Then the computer sets restriction conditions for coefficients by imposing restrictions on a difference between the index of the first operation mode and the index of the second operation mode. Further, the computer finds a value of a coefficient meeting the restriction conditions using training data including combinations of feature quantities and indexes (step 602).
