Abstract
Marriage relationship and the family built on the basis of marriage relationship are important social relations and one of the basic research units. Cross-border marriage is intermarriage between cross-cultural groups, and its development track is inseparable from the social, economic, political, cultural, ethnic, religious and many other backgrounds. Contemporary Chinese cross-border marriage is accompanied by political, economic and cultural backgrounds under the background of globalization. Changes in policy are more complex. The cross-border flow of capital and people accompanying the reform and opening up has also changed people's perception and behavior of marriage and family. The process of modernization and globalization has expanded the choice space of individuals in the field of private life in the field of society, culture and ideology. The global labor market, regional population gender structure, economic differences between countries and regions, and cultural similarities between cross-border groups are the main driving forces of cross-border migration and marriage. The characteristics of socioeconomic conditions and demographics in both sending and receiving regions can have both push and pull effects on labor and marriage markets. The status quo of cross-border marriage in contemporary China is formed under the joint action of external and internal factors, push and pull.
