Abstract
Supercritical fluid possesses the advantages of both the gas and the liquid, such as great solubility, favorable mass transfer capacity, low surface tension and satisfactory permeability. The cyclodextrin complexes prepared by supercritical fluid process have the characteristics of uniform particle size, high purity and no residual solvent. The applications of traditional methods are limited due to the disadvantages, including the requirement of organic or toxic solvents, long drying step and low efficiency. Preparation

In order to provide a reference for the researchers, in the present paper, the production processes of cyclodextrin complexes by supercritical fluid process are classified, the latest research progress of various processes is summarized and the existing problems are put forward based on a great deal of literature in home and abroad.
