Abstract

The map covers the area between longitudes 139o and 139o30'E, latitudes 21o30' and 22oS. The region is dominantly occupied by Proterozoic metasediments with metavolcanics and some intrusions, but in the central and western parts there are outcrops of flat lying Cambrian rocks, including rock phosphates. Younger rocks are restricted to arenaceous sediments capping some mesas, and superficial deposits.-B.W.D.Yardley
