Abstract

We demonstrate a continuous-wave optical vortex source operating at 1108 nm, corresponding to the weaker Raman transition at 382 cm-1 in Nd:GdVO4, by employing an annular beam pumping geometry formed of an axicon lens and an objective lens. Maximum vortex power of ∼50 mW was achieved.
