Abstract

In the mol-ecule of the title compound, C19H18N6O10, the 2,8-dimeth-oxy-4,10-dimethyl-1,3,7,9-tetra-nitro analogue of Trögers base, the diazo-cine bridge imparts a twist such that the two aryl rings are offset with respect to one another. The hinge angle of the molecule, measured as the dihedral angle between the two benzene rings, is 103.64 (5)°.
