Abstract
A chirp-controlled nanosecond-pulsed tunable optical parametric oscillator and twostage Ti:sapphire amplifier generate high-power coherent light at ~840 nm, with frequency stability and narrow optical bandwidth as needed for high-resolution ultraviolet spectroscopy.
