abstract = "This paper introduces a dual band planar microstrip antenna designed to operate within the frequency bands 2.25 - 2.75 GHz and 5.39 - 5.57 GHz, specifically tailored for WLAN and WiFi 5G devices. The proposed design features a single antenna element on RO4350B substrate with dimensions measuring 67 × 45 ×1.52 mm3. The dual band functionality is achieved by incorporating a T-shaped radiator on the feedline and adding another with longer arms positioned atop the initial radiator. The impedance bandwidth is enhanced by adjusting the length and width of the arms of T-shaped radiator. The antenna demonstrates a peak gain of 2.4 dBi at 2.25 GHz and 4.68 dBi at 5.57 GHz respectively. Furthermore, its radiation efficiency surpasses 90\% across the entire operating bands.",
