Abstract

The Open Source phenomenon has attracted great academic attention in various fields ranging from social science and economics to computer science and engineering. Currently, existence of multitude of papers in various fields of study makes the finding, surveying and focusing on a research work with OSS topic hard. Moreover reviewing all related papers in a specific topic could be very time consuming and maybe impossible in practice. Here through analysis of many researches and based on identification of different stakeholders of the Open Source community, we present a unique framework which can be used for categorizing pervious research work as well as finding research topic based on the interest and expertise. This framework can also provide an image of the different fields of research and show research gaps in the topics.
