Abstract

This paper presents a mobile agent based system for accessing distributed databases on the Internet. This system is developed on 100% pure Java code. It adopts a master-worker work function and a three-tier (3TC) commit protocol for distributed transactions. The 3TC protocol can significantly reduce the bottleneck of communication.
