Abstract

In this paper a new global oceanic cloud climatology is derived. The variety of different global cloud distributions are illustrated with a brief review of the global cloud climatologies currently available. A predictive relationship between NOAA system albedo data and 3D-nephanalysis cloud amount data has been used to derive a new oceanic global cloud climatology.-from Authors
