Abstract

A new species of the jumping spider genus Hasarius Simon, 1871 — H. mumbai Joshi et Tripathi, 2023 sp.n. (♂♀) — is described from few remaining green plots in Mumbai, India. A detailed morphological description, diagnosis and illustrations of the copulatory organs of both sexes are provided.
