N2 - The combination of Neutron Tomography (NT), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM, with and without elemental analysis), pH profiling and Microindentation Mapping techniques was used to develop a methodology for the assessment of concrete sewer pipe deterioration. We demonstrate a viable method for health monitoring of concrete sewer pipes and the evaluation of competing mitigation strategies.
