Abstract

In this paper, a technique is presented to reduce the computational effort involved in the full-wave frequency analysis of printed antennas, as done via the method of moments (MoM) discretization of EFIE. The technique is based on the resonance properties of one or more radiating elements presented in the structure, as assessed through the singular value decomposition (SVD) of the associated matrices. Examples of the application of the method are presented: the obtained results are compared with exact evaluation and experimental data.
