Abstract
The Macquarie University Special Education Centre (MUSE) was established to contribute to research and development in the field of learning problems. Staff are involved in providing remedial education programs for children with learning problems who are in regular schools and in the exemplary classrooms on and off the University campus. The results for children in these programs illustrate the effectiveness of structured, individualised teaching strategies which incorporate the principles of precision teaching and are thus based on the concept of a sequential development.
