A resource pooling result for a CDMA antenna array

Abstract

A spread spectrum, multi-user channel, with an antenna array at the receiver, and independent flat fading to each antenna from each user, is considered. Focus is on the case of microdiversity. It is shown that a curious phenomenon of "resource pooling" arises.
