Abstract
A rigorous theory is developed for the analysis of multiple scattering from 2D arbitrary cavities with longitudinal slits. The Method of Regularization, previously applied to the diffraction problem for single cavities, is generalized to ensembles that may incorporate both closed and slotted cavities. The numerical calculations are performed for various configurations of two coupled elliptical cavity resonators with longitudinal slits.
