Abstract
Observations of GBS0526-66 collected from December 29, 1984-January 3, 1985 with the Molonglo Observatory Synthesis Telescope are examined. The events were accepted based on the instrumental detection thresholds which ranged from about 10 to the -29th J/sq m Hz for 1 microsecond pulses to about 10 to the -26th J/sq m Hz for 1 sec pulses. The effect of interference on the detection of events is discussed. It is observed that no event, other than recognized interference, with a pulse energy density rate greater than that of the acceptance threshold was detected.
