Abstract

In this paper, a simple and low-cost MIMO antenna without any decoupling structure has been presented. The proposed antenna fully covers Australian commercial 5G band that is designated for 3.5 – 3.7 GHz. This band offers high speed wireless connectivity and supports 5G communications that inherently have low latency and high data rates. It is designed using FR-4 low-cost substrate with thickness of 0.8mm. Moreover, it exhibits good radiation characteristics in terms of radiation patterns and gain. The shape and compactness of antenna allow its easy integration to 5G enabled devices and IoT applications.
