Abstract

A 450K transistor Video Ghost Canceller chiu, which implements a flexibly configurable IIR and FIR filter, is described. In particular, a very compact digital filter tap operating at pixel rate of 14.32MHz (4*Fsc) allows 180 programmable taps to be implemented in a die area of 56.25 mm² in a lμ TLM CMOS process. The device operates with 3.3V or 5V power supplies.
