Abstract

The following study documents and describes an initial interaction involving the Rotorua-based Crown Research Institute (CRI) Scion, and the staff and students of Newstead Primary School in Hamilton, New Zealand. The interaction was part of a wider Ministry of Research, Science and Technology (MORST) science education initiative known as the Science-for-Life project.
