Abstract
An unusual case of Coxiella burneti infection is described in which the patient presented with an 'acute abdomen' and marked clinical icterus. This case emphasizes that Q-fever may appear as acute hepatitis and illustrates its 'characteristic' histopathological lesions which have been recognized only recently.
