Aegyptiaca from the Acropolis of Tel Yarmuth

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapter

Abstract

Publication of Egyptian artefacts found during excavations of the Early Bronze Age levels of the Acropolis area at Tel Yarmouth, Israel. The number of objects from the Acropolis is small in quantity but fits a broader pattern of engagement by the Egyptian state with elites during the Early Bronze II (ESL 4) and Early Bronze IIIA (ESL 5a), as evidenced by material found elsewhere at the site.
