Agency law in China, with specific reference to foreign trade agency

    Abstract

    Chinese Law enacts provisions relating to agency law generally. It is also unique in its emphasis on the use of agents in foreign trade in defined circumstances, and makes specific and detailed provisions for this specialised class of agent. Below, the general principles of contract law will be reviewed, following which foreign trade agency law will be examined.
