Abstract

Agile Learning is a prevalent and effective pedagogy. It is commonly associated with computer science and software programming courses. This is because Agile Learning is particularly suitable for problems with rapidly changing parameters and requirements. However Agile Learning may also be applicable in the field of product design and development as this field relies on an iterative design process. Herein, we report the result of a teaching implementation that promotes the use of Agile Learning in a 4th year product design unit. The effect of the learning implementation was evaluated by the transformative skills develop for that cohort of student and the quality of work submitted. The scores were compared against other students who have not been exposed to the learning implementation.
