Abstract
This article reflects upon interviews of Greek-Australians, or those of Greek descent, conducted by the authors in both Australia and Greece between 1985 and 2000. Collectively, the stories provided by the interviewees offered personal perspectives into generational notions of Australian identity and diasporic Hellenic identity, trans-culturality, inter-culturality and hybridity in a world that, over the last 200 years, has progressively embraced an ever-increasing circulation of people, ideas, technologies and commodities.
