    Abstract

We develop computational statistical tools to facilitate quantification of stochastic acoustic multiple scattering in the half-plane. The plane is bounded by a sound-soft wall along the x-axis. Wave propagation in the half-plane is induced by an incident wave impinging on multiple stochastic particles in the half-plane. We develop an efficient algorithm to compute moments of certain quantities of interest (QoI). Key ingredients of our algorithm include offline computations, fast online realizations, image theory, and high-order Monte Carlo realizations.
