Abstract

We propose an Opto-VLSI correlator for optical header recognition where an array of fiber Bragg gratings is used in combination with an Opto-VLSI processor. A proof-of-conoept 4-bit Opto-VLSI correlator is experimentally demonstrated at 2.2Gb/s.
