This paper presents the analysis of coplanar waveguide (CPW) with finite conductor thickness using quasi-static spectral domain approach (SDA) method on isotropic dielectric substrate in shielded multilayer configuration. In this method, the conductor strips of finite thickness are replaced by two parallel strips of zero thickness separated by the gap equal to the conductor thickness. The Green's function for the multilayer CPW in Fourier domain is obtained by transverse transmission line (TTL) technique. Perturbation method and single layer reduction (SLR) method are used to account the conductor and dielectric loss respectively. The effect of finite conductor thickness is analyzed on the effective dielectric constant, impedance, dielectric loss and conductor loss.
