Application of mobile agent framework in the Campus Data Grid architecture

Abstract

As the high speed development of Campus network, it is necessary to build a Campus Data Grid for sharing information. However, Large quantity of data transitions may cause congestion and instable of network. In this paper, we propose a new mobile agent framework and apply mobile agent technology into Campus Data Grid. The communication process in different parts in the new framework is detailed discussed. At last, we give the overall Campus Data Grid architecture adopted mobile agent technology and discuss the workflow. Using mobile agents to access distributed and heterogeneous Data Grid nodes, we can effectively solve the transition bottleneck problems and improve the interoperability of nodes in Data Grid.
