Abstract
Reports on the findings of a large-scale survey of consumer attitudes to and utilisation of services in Singapore. It focuses on three new towns built since the mid-1960s. Although there are differences in service provision between the towns, the older settlements have generally had their service provision upgraded in recent years. Differences in utilisation patterns amongst residents are analysed to see if they are related to patterns of provision. The results should be useful to planners and developers of future new towns in Singapore. -after Author
