Abstract

Etalons have been incorporated within an intracavity CW THz laser, leading to both linewidth narrowing and an improvement in THz output power. We report key findings, with a focus on using 100 μm thick coated and uncoated YAG etalons, as these were found to provide the most stable and repeatable operation.
