    Abstract

The article looks at the differences between the theatrical productions by indigenous and non-indigenous playwrights in Australia. Andrew Bovell, author of "Holy Day," aims to raise awareness on addressing aboriginal suffering. Katherine Thomson excluded racism from the plot of "Wonderlands." The characters, whether black or white, in the monodrama "I Don't Wanna Play House," by Tammy Anderson have an irreverent self.
