Abstract

McNamamra's coverage of the law of blasphemy explores the elements of the offence of blasphemy, followed by an account of its historical development to the early part of the twentieth century. He then turns to the issues which arise as a result of the re-emergence of prosecutions for blasphemy after 1970.
