Abstract
Blue Oscillations is an audio-visual work for solo performer and laptop that employs custom-built software to provide a performance environment for live sound/image generation and processing, exploring the interplay between audio visual transformations. 'Blue Oscillations' is a visual / sound journey of warped drone-space, clicks, pops and stutters. Direct computational relationships exist in software between sound and image and sound and image are co-shaped in real time by the performer. Sound synthesisers are mapped to real time visualisations of endless flight through psychedelic landscapes.
