Abstract
Byak is an Android smartphone application. The innovation lies primarily in bringing locally produced Melanesian testimonies of massacre and expressions of support into a highly relevant multi-modal form allowing rapid distribution to the main target audiences in Papua New Guinea, West Papua, and Vanuatu.
