    Abstract

20-minute radio drama/music feature written, composed and produced by John Potts. A speculative performance work in which a ghost haunts the corner of Castlereagh and Market streets in Sydney and experiences the world primarily through sound. The ghost comes to believe that he may be a recording, inscribed on the sandstone of the old buildings whose 'energy' and memory are occasionally activated by forces over which he has no control. At first he has no sense of his former life or identity, but gradually the events of the dramatic past become overpoweringly present. First broadcast on ABC-FM on April 10 2000.
