    Abstract

    A research paper commissioned by Parramatta Female Factory Precinct Memory Project to celebrate NAIDOC 2018 theme 'Because of Her We Can' (8-15 July 2018). This research paper examines the connection between the Cootamundra Aboriginal Girls' Training Home and Parramatta Girls Home, and the influence of eugenics on New South Wales child welfare directives pertaining to Aboriginal people in the first half of the 20th century.
