    Abstract

Concerns of parents, teachers and healthcare professionals about the health of children, notably obesity, eating disorders and poor body image, continue to receive media attention. Teachers and parents are all too familiar with dramatic measures such as crash diets and excessive physical exercise some young people are prepared to take to obtain that ideal or perfect body.
