    Abstract

    Thie article looks at the effect of pollution on the Chinese people and on global climate change in light of the massive industrialization of China over the past 2 decades. It examines the benefit to China of ratifying the Kyoto Protocol in relation to foreign investment in clean development mechanism projects.
