Abstract
This paper has discussed the characteristics of co-seismic ground tilt, strain and gravity waves, and their attenuation. It is shown that the attenuation coefficients of coseismic deformation waves recorded by different instruments are close in different areas. The characteristics of co-seismic deformations waves of Indonesia earthquakes give us a chance to understand the influence of instrument work parameters, relative disturbances nearby observation sites on the deformation measurement, and to study the attenuation process of deformation waves.
